When you make a change in the property, then you should press button Generate in the Preview window to apply the changes and you will see updated seal or stamp as per your choice.

Normal usage is so: you edit a seal or stamp, tune-up your properties, press Generate button to see changes, then tune-up properties again and so on. Thereafter you will get nice looking seal/stamp as the case may be, you may save settings file, to continue tune-up later, or export seal into image file, save to Microsoft Word Document (*.docx) file, or print seal using your printer.

Working with Project Files

To start working on a new clean Seal or stamp please just open up the StampSealMaker app. When you make any changes in properties, it is saved in memory of the app. If you want to save this changes for later usage, you may use in top bar button Save Project to save all the settings into project file for later usage. So, when you restart app, you again presented with clean new seal, but now you can load your recently saved seal by using Open Project and selecting previously saved file. Please don’t forget to save file again if you made any changes in your seal properties in the app.

Exporting

Seals or Stamps can be exported into three different ways: image file, as Microsoft Word Document (*.docx) file, or print using your printer. Please click on export section on file from the software.

Export as Image File

Use Export Image button at top bar of the app to save seal as image. The image format will be PNG, JPG or GIF which is supported by StampSealMaker app. You might decide to use the image in another app; insert into other documents, print it using third-party apps etc. All these are achievable outside of the StampSealMaker with using your exported seal image.

Export as MS Word Document File

Use Export DocX button at top bar of the app to save seal as Docx file, which is Microsoft Document file. After saving, you may navigate yourself in your operating system to the exported Docx file and open it in your editor (by default – Microsoft Word). This is useful if you want to fine tune location of the seal using MS Word application, or make other changes in the document and then print it in the MS Word.

Editing the Seal Properties

Preview Background Color

When you edit the seal properties and then press Generate button, you will see updated seal in the preview pane. Sometimes it is hard to see the details on the default white background. This color will be applied to the background of the preview of the seal. Please note that this color is not saved in the image when you export it is not saved in Docx file when you save it, and will not print if you print the seal. This color is only for your preview of the seal!

Background Size

This option is located at bottom of preview pane. The default value is near 50 mm. Most of the app settings by default is good fit for this size. You may change this value if you want depending on projects, the more pixels in size then bigger the seal will be, and better the quality, but also tiny lines will be, fonts and etc., so you will be need to edit other properties of the seal as well if you change the size in pixels. The more you practice with the software, the more you get better generating any stamp or seal.
